*PREFERENCE FOR HAJJ OR MARRIAGE*

What should be give preference, children wedding or performing Hajj?

If a certain person has such an amount of wealth, that he can perform Hajj but doesn't do so, and utilise that amount in his child's wedding, and then he becomes poor and remains so, his entire lifetime, in such a case performance of Hajj will be considered farz on him, since he initially had sufficient amount. If he dies without performing Hajj, he will be sinful for letting go of a farz Hajj. Nowadays most of the money spent on wedding is unnecessary and unrequired. It is against Shariah. If the marriage is done in accordance to it, there be no problem with regard to Hajj performance.
