A. What is the ruling regarding selling rakhi bands?

B. What are the benefits of offering animal sacrifice?

A. Selling of rakhi band is participating in a Non Muslims ritual hence it is better to avoid it.

📕 FATAWA RAHIMIYAH 9/206

B. It has been narrated by Hazrat Aisha radi Allahu anha that Muhammad sallalahu alaihi wasalam said that " the person who offer sacrifice on 10th of Zul Hajjah ie. Eid ul Adha, there is no other amal of a person which is dearer to Allah then the sacrifice and the animal offered as sacrifice and on the day of Judgement, the sacrificed animal will come to life along with hair and blood, and the time taken for the blood to land, even before that Allah swt accepts and rewards the person, hence, offer your sacrifice with utmost heart and happiness."

According to another narration, for every single hair of the animal the person will be rewarded. Sahaba radi allahu anhu asked Prophet Muhammad sallalahu alaihi if it was the same for wool (wool because lighter hence in more quantity) , Muhammad sallalahu alaihi wasalam replied in affirmative. (Mafhume hadith)

There are lacs of body hair on animals. Hence, it is better in the hope of getting rewards to offer sacrifice even if it is not wajib as who would want to be deprived of such rewards?

📗 Tirmizi sharif wa ibne maajah bahawala
📙Masaile qurbani 32 bifarqi yasir
