Is it permissible to attend Jam'aat when your parents, wife and children are displeased?

It is not permissible to attend Jam'aat while ignoring Huqooqr Wajiba. If the expense of Parents, and family is his responsibility, it is compulsory to make arrangements for it. If he does not do so, he will be held accountable for it. In the same way, if the parents are old and sick, or physically dependent, he is required to tend for them instead of attending Jam'aat.

If the expense is arranged and they are not physical dependent, then the parents cannot stop him. If he attend jam'aat or goes for tabligh, despite being told not to, he will not be considered sinful.
