For zakat to be wajib, should all goods be in ownership for more than a year? If it decrease during mid year, or fluctuations, is Zakat to be calculated on it?

To calculate zakat on goods, it is compulsory to have it in possession for a year, not on every goods, all the goods which are in ownership at the end of the year, even if you have brought it a month or week prior to year end calculations.

At the beginning or end of the year, if he had in possession 22 tola silver amount is enough to calculate zakat on it. If in the middle of the year, the goods are less, the entire amount needs to be calculated.
