When should sajdah e tilawat be performed? What is the right way of doing it? And how does it need to be done?

While reciting or listening to aayat of sajdah e tilawat, it is best to offer it at that time itself. There is no sin if it is done later but delaying it for a longer is Makrooh.
The procedure of sajdah e tilawat is to stand and recite takbeer before going for sajdah and again get up from sajdah with recitation of takbeer. It can also be done seated in the same way.

NOTE : There is no need to fold hanfs and say salam at the end. Addition of this is incorrect.
