INVOCATIONS ON SHABE MERAJ
IT WAS A GREAT NIGHT
If you assume that the journey of Meraj was undertaken by Prophet Muhammed sallahu alayhi wasallam on 27 of Rajab, when the great journey took place, when Allah swt granted this beloved opportunity to Prophet Muhammed sallahu alayhi wasallam, invited him, and gifted him with our daily prayers (salah), indeed it was a great night and who can deny it?
THERE WERE 18 NIGHTS OF SHAB-E-MERAJ IN HIS LIFETIME
The event of Shab-e-Meraj occurred during the fifth year of Prophet hood, Prophet Muhammed sallahu alayhi wasallam spent 18 years of his worldly life after the event. During all those years, there has been no details about Prophet Muhammed sallahu alayhi wasallam asking and doing any special prayers. Neither has it been said about praying and staying awake like that during Shab-e-Qadr or mentioned about rewards. Neither Prophet Muhammed sallahu alayhi wasallam nor the Sahaba Ikram Razi Allahu anhum were found to practicing this night and spending it in special prayers.
