*RULING REGARDING LATE MONEY RETURN*

If a person is given goods on one month credit amounting to Rs. 10,000, and the person takes two months for payment instead of one, is it permitted to take some extra amount, for example, Rs. 300 as fine?

It is not permissible to charge extra amount for late payment.
