INCLUDING SURAH IN MISS RAQ'AAT

⭕Today's Question no. 1177⭕

If you miss two Raq'aat with Imam, and after completion, we pray the missed Raq'aat, do we have to recite surah after fatiha? I used to do so, but was informed that it is not right. Please elaborate the right way of offering the missed Raq'aat.

To include surah in the missed Raq'aat is wajib and compulsory.
The prayer will not be reversed, in fact it will be completed. Since, you missed out the Raq'aat in which Imam include the surah and hence one is required to pray exactly the Raq'aat is missed. If he does not do so, his prayer will not be considered right.

For example, if someone misses a class, he will have to study the missed lesson by turning pages backward.
