*DISTRIBUTION OF SWEETS AT KHATME QURAN*

A. What is the ruling regarding collection of money for distribution of sweets at the end of khatme Quran and taraweeh?
B. Can a person distribute it on behalf of himself without fund raising?
🔵 Answer 🔵
A. To distribute sweets at the end of khatme Quran and taraweeh is not necessary and permissible. There is no evidence regarding it from Prophet Muhammad sallalahu alaihi wasalam, sahaba e kiram rahmatullahi alayhim and tabieen. Hence, it is not permissible to collect funds for it.
B. If someone wants to distribute sweets from his own pocket, one should make sure that is does not affect the people prayers, try distribution at such a time when there is no disturbance for salah, not create loud voice at the entrance of mosque and anyway not disrespect the mosque.
