आप सल्लल्लाहु अलयही वसल्लम ने सब से पेहला निकाह 25 साल की उमर् में एक 40 साल की बुढी बेवा हज़रत खदीजा रदि.से किया जो दो शौहरों के निकाह में रेह चुरी थी दोनो से औलाद भी थी दो लडकों और तीन लडकीयों की इस तरह 5 बच्चों की माँ थीं.येह निकाह की दर्खवास्त खुद हज़रत खदीजा रदी.की जानिब से थी जिसको बारगाहे नुबुव्वत में रद्द-मना न किया गया और निकाह कर के अपनी उमर् के 25 साल उन्ही के साथ गुज़ारे.और सब औलाद भी उन्से हूइ जब उम्रे शरीफ़ 50 साल से भी आगे बढ गइ तब बाकी दस निकाह शरई ज़रुरतों की वजह से मुख्तलीफ हालात में कीए गए, येह सब की सब बीवीयाँ हज़रत आईशह रदी़. के सिवाय बेवा थीं. और बाज़ औलाद वाली थीं.और सब औरतें आप सल्लल्लाहु अलयही वसल्लम के निकाह में खुश थीं और सुखी थीं. इन सब बातों को देखकर कोइ सहीह अक्ल रखने वाला आसानी येह फैसला कर सकता है कि येह तमाम निकाह (अल्लह की पनाह) नफसानी ख्वाहीशात पुरी करने के लिये नहीं थे.
जब हज़रत खदीजह रदी.का इन्तीकाल हुआ उस वकत लाखो लोग ईस्लाम में दाखील हो चुके थे खूबसुरत से खूबसुरत और तमाम कुंवारी औरतें नबी सल्लल्लाहु अलयही वसल्लम के निकाह में आने को फखर् और दुनीया आखिरत में कामीयाबी समजती थीं फीर भी आप सल्लल्लाहु अलयही वसल्लम ने ईस्लामी फायदह के लीये बेवाओं से निकाह किया.
हुज़ुर सल्लल्लाहु अलयही वसल्लम को जान से मारने की और हर तरह से बदनाम करने की मुशरीकीन और यहुदीयों ने कोशीश की बहुत से इल्ज़ामात लगाए नबी सल्लल्लाहु अलयही वसल्लम को जादुगर,पागल,शाईर कहा गया लेकिन इन सब निकाहों को देखकर कीसी ने भी नबी सल्लल्लाहु अलयही वसल्लम को (अल्लाह की पनाह) शहवत परस्त वगैरह इस लाइन के बूरे अल्काब किसी ने भी नहीं दिये कयुंके हुज़ुर सल्लल्लाहु अलयही वसल्लम की पाकीज़ह पाकदामनी वाली पुरी ज़ींदगी उन्के सामने थी.

एक मर्द के लीये बहोत सी बीवीयाँ रखना इस्लाम से पेहले तकरीबन दुनिया के तमाम मज़हब में जाईज़ था
हिन्दुस्तान,ईरान,मिसर्,युनान,काबुल वगैरह मूल्को की हर कौम में कसरत से सदीयों की रस्म जारी थी और उस की फितरी ज़रुरतों से आज भी कोइ इन्कार नहीं कर सकता,कृष्ण जो हिंदुओं में बडे वाजीबुत्त ताज़िम (आदरणीय) माने जाते है उन्की सैंकडो बीवीयाँ थीं, मनुजी जो हिन्दुओं और आर्यनो में सब के नज़दीक पैशवा और बुज़ुर्ग माने जाते है,घर्म शास्ञ में लीखते हैं "अगर एक आदमी की चार  पाँच औरते हों और उन में से एक साहिबे औलाद (बच्चो वाली) हो तो बाकी भी साहिबे औलाद केहलाती है

हुज़ुर सल्लल्लाहु अलयही वसल्लम ने 11 औरतों से निकाह किया इस्की मस्लीहतें और हिकमतैं है,

1. नबी सल्लल्लाहु अलयही वसल्लम का हर अमल उम्मते मुस्लीमह के लीये दस्तुर,कानून,सबक की हैसीयत रखता है इसलीये आप सल्लल्लाहु अलयही वसल्लम की ज़ीन्दगी का हर पहलु उम्मत के सामने अल्लाह को लाना था और अन्दर की जी़न्दगी के हालात,जैसे की तन्हाई की ईबादत की मशक्कत (बंदगी और मेहनत) और शौक उम्मत के सामने लाना था.

2.मुख्तलीफ उम्र और मुख्तलीफ खान्दान और मुख्तलीफ मीजाज़ की औरतों के साथ सादगी से निकाह करने की ईन्सानो को तरीकह मालूम हो, हुज़ुर सल्लल्लाहु अलयही वसल्लम को मालुम था के लोग खान्दानी रिवाज की वजह से निकाह में बहोत खर्च करेंगे उन्के लीये सादगी के नमुने पैश किये.

3.अैसी मुख्तलीफ औरतों के साथ रेहने का,उन्की तरबीयत करने का,उन्को बरदाश्त करने का,उन्के सामने अख्लाक़ पैश करने का तरीक़ह उम्मत को मालुम हो.

4.घर की चार दिवारी जहां कोइ देखने वाला नहीं होता और ईन्सान अपने बीवी-बच्चो से बेतकल्लुफ होता है फीर भी उन्के साथ हुस्ने सुलुक की पुरी अदायगी का तरीक़ह उम्मत के सामने आए.

5.बीवी के साथ तन्हाई के मसाइल जीसको बीवी ही देख सकती है वोह भी उम्मत तक पहोंचाने वाली कसरत से हो,

6.औरतों की पाकी-नापाकी के मसाईल जिसे गैर महरम (पराइ) औरतें पूछने में शर्म करती हैं बीवीयों के ज़रीये उम्मत तक पहोंच जाए.

7.अैसी औरतों को मदद करने के लीये और उन्के गम दूर करने के लीये जीन्के शौहर (पति) लडाई में शहीद कर दीये गए और वोह बेसरोसामान रेह गइ तो उन्की दिलदारी और सहारा देने के लीए.

8. मुख्तलीफ कौमो के लोगों की मुसलमानों के साथ लडाई थी और वोह दूश्मनी रखते थे,उन्के साथ अच्छे तअल्लुकात और रीश्तेदीरी काईम हो जाए.
कयुंकी निकाह की वजह से अल्लाह के नबी सल्लल्लाहु अलयही वसल्लम उन्के रिश्तेदार बन जाए और उन्के दुश्मन दोस्त हो जाए और खुन-खराबा रुक जाए वगैरह....
